I Always Loved Games and this is one of my favourites the
Assassin’s Creed 3 an action-adventure video
game developed by Ubisoft
Montreal. It is the fifth installment of the Assassin’s Creed. After Altaïr
ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze Desmond Miles now relives the memories
of his half-English, half-Mohawk ancestor, Ratonhnhaké:ton (don’t even try
pronouncing it) aka Connor Kenway; using the animus to find a way to avert the
2012 apocalypse.
Assassin's Creed III is set in an open world and presented
from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on using Desmond and
Connor's combat and stealth abilities to eliminate targets and explore the
environment and find hidden objects.
What’s
Good?
Has an enthralling and powerful plot, Interesting and
realistic sea battles, Amazing Mini-Games which adds to the joy of gaming,
Every minute detail of both historical and visual are given great attention,
Desmond mission were breathtaking and surreal.
What’s
Bad?
Too many bugs and glitches which destroyed the fun in
playing the game, Hunting was to easy and boring, Too much cinematic scenes,
Won’t know what exactly we have to do in a mission, Parkour, stunts and stealth
were too easy and quite impossible in real life.
At
first we play as Desmond, the protagonist, looking for the Temple in New York
with William, Shawn and Rebecca. They find it and Desmond connects himself to
the Animus and relives the memories of Haytham Kenway, the Templar Grand
Master.
Later he plays as Ratonhnhaké:ton (oh boy)- the son of
Haytham and Kaniehti:io. Kaniehti:io
left Haytham when she found out that he was a Templar, and later bore Ratonhnhaké:ton.
She died during an attack on her village led by the Templar Charles Lee. Ratonhnhaké:ton masters hunting, free running
and many other cool stuff as he grows up. Then he meets Achilles who later gave
him a full training and made him an assassin. He suggested Ratonhnhaké:ton to
rename himself as Connor to enable him to move freely throughout the colonies.
His mission was to stop the Templar’s from gaining control.

Meanwhile, Desmond is occasionally relieved out of the
Animus to find the power cells for activating the Temple before Cross finds them
all. To me this is the most interesting and entertaining missions in the game.
The homestead missions are fun to play and it feels good
when we see it grow. Sailing a ship is the best in this game, it is realistic and gives you the feeling of a Captain or maybe even a Pirate. The peg leg missions are epic; it is so interesting as
well as difficult. All the mini-quests are a real fun to play with.

The game is interesting and full of suspense with great twist
and turns. At some parts it is quite sentimental too. But the graphics was a real shame for such a great game. It was
full of glitches that made you irritated sometimes. If it wasn’t for that, the
game would have been perfect. In this game free running is very easy but it is
quite inconsistent or bit unreal.
Stealth and Free Running is made easy |
New Features are added like Archery |
New features like archery, hunting, sailing, etc. really gave the game a whole new environment to play with. Connor is gifted with new fighting skills and weapons. The upgrade in the hidden blade made it realistic, but still queston on how an assassin takes his blade out and fights is still unanswered.
Overall the game is really awesome and I’m looking forward to the next installment
of Assassin’s Creed i.e. Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag (I think I posted
the game’s trailor) which is the game's prequel and is set to follow Connor's grandfather, a pirate, in the Carribean.
